Directions from M4 motorway - Cardiff

Exit at Junction 33 on M4 go left < off roundabout heading for Cardiff West

Come off first proper slip road < which is 2 or 3 miles off the M4

Take the last turn > off the roundabout heading for Bridgend and Cowbridge on the A48

After about 7.5 miles turn off left < for Cowbridge go straight through the traffic lights at the crossroads and straight through the town with the shops on either side

As you leave the shops at the other end of the town take the left < turn up a hill (before the bridge in front of you) the B4270 for Llantwit Major

After about 2 miles you come to a small T junction, turn left <, then after another 2 miles you come to the Llantwit Major roundabout

Go straight over this roundabout (sign town centre) and also the next small mini roundabout

As you come into town with shops appearing each side the road turns sharp left for the main street, stop > take a right turn and immediate left < down Colhugh street known locally as the beach road (i.e. the road leading to the beach)

After about 200 yards down the beach road turn right > down Flanders road

Go straight on to a gravel lane

Go down the gravel lane for 100 yards and Bramble Cottage is the last Building on your left
